Joy Gambrell discovered more information regarding the whereabouts of George, missing from his family in 1911.

He left Southampton for Africa on the 5 Aug 1905, and it seems the rest of family followed. George and family returned on 12 Nov 1909 to the port of London; but then George left on his own from Southampton on 23 Nov 1909 for Singapore, not arriving back in London until 21 May 1915.   Hannah and family did not go with him.
